What is a template

Why use templates How to create templates Questions

What is a template A template is standardized file type used by computer software as a pre-formatted example on which to base other files, especially

documents In TruServe, you can create templates, assign them to different staff, and use them for several purposes

Why Use Templates

Track technical assistance provided

Streamline office work Share information with colleagues Run report for grants Save time!

How to create a template 1. Think of your everyday tasks and characterize them (TA, Outreach, information

dissemination) 2. Figure out grant requirements and separate into general headings (Rural TA, 3RNET, J1) 3. Add any community partners, FQHC,

Colleges, etc. to the orgs/people tab Creating activity based on your templates

More template information You can edit a template any time there are changes (you have a new community partner) You can run reports in TruServe and get the information for grants, PIMS, 3RNET reporting,

etc. Activities can be put in based on your time (daily, weekly, etc)

Next Steps 50 additional day supply plan to re-open PODs.
