DID YOU KNOW
YOU CAN USE YOUR STOP WORK AUTHORITY WHEN
YOU HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT THE HEALTH, SAFETY
OR ENVIRONMENT IN THE WORKPLACE.
EVERY Halliburton employee has the authority and responsibility to stop work,
without fear of retaliation, if he/she perceives an unsafe act or condition at work.
Stop Work Authority is an essential tool in the Halliburton culture of safety, and
every manager up to and including our CEO is prepared to back an employee
who prevents an incident by using it.
Halliburton employees at every level should empower the people around them
encourage them to watch for unsafe conditions or processes, and use Stop Work
Authority when necessary.
At Halliburton, solving customer challenges is second only to keeping everyone
safe and healthy. You can find more safety tips at www.halliburton.com/HSE.
